& Breakfast Collection 2011 Directory
Rural Tourism operates the Bed & Breakfast Collection
which offers your clients three specific levels of accommodation
– Standard, Superior and Deluxe.
The Standard and
Superior categories have fixed rates which allow these properties
to be sold on a pre booked or on an open dated pass basis.
We highly recommend pre booking all accommodation especially
during the months of October – April. The Deluxe category,
with individual rates, must be pre booked.

& Breakfast Collection FAQs
What does a Bed & Breakfast
Collection booking include?
The property will provide accommodation and breakfast only,
all other meals/beverages must be paid directly to the B&B.
What
type of bathroom arrangements should the clients expect?
Standard B&B properties - either a host share or guest
share bathroom is available. In some cases, a private bathroom
may be available.
Superior B&B properties - either a guest share or private
bathroom is available
Deluxe B&B properties - private or ensuite bathrooms are
guaranteed.
Is a cooked breakfast included?
For both Standard B&B and Superior B&B properties,
it is the properties choice as to whether a cooked and/or
continental breakfast is offered. For all Deluxe B&B properties,
a cooked breakfast will be provided.
What about dietary requirements,
can the property accommodate this?
We must inform the B&B property of any guest dietary requirements
at the time of booking.
Does
the B&B Collection property provide dinners?
Some B&B properties can arrange dinners. Please advise
if this is a requirement at the time of booking. All dinners
are to be paid directly to the B&B property, and such
costs are not included in the B&B Collection rates. Most
B&B Collection properties are located within central cities
and will be a close distance to quality restaurants. If you
are unsure, please ask your hosts as they will be able to
help you to make arrangements.
Are
transfers to the Bed & Breakfast Collection property included?
No all guests are to make own travel arrangements to and from
the property.
Bed & Breakfast Collection Reservation Conditions:
• All rates are
on a per room basis and include GST. All rates are quoted
in NZ Dollars.
• Clients must provide their own transfers to all properties.
• Check in is from 3pm. Check out is before 10am.
• The tariff includes the properties choice of a continental
or cooked breakfast.
• All other meals/beverages must be paid direct.
• Payment must be made no later than the 20th of the month
following invoice.
• Standard & Superior Category Only - Full cancellation
charges apply if the booking is cancelled within 7 days or
if guests “no show”.
• Deluxe Category Only - Cancellation Policy: 50% payable
if booking cancels within 30 days. Full charges apply if booking
cancels within 7 days or if guests 'No Show'
• Dinner is available at most properties with 48 hours notice.
This cost is not included and must be paid directly.
